We've won the Tender

Voluntary Impact Bucks, the new Consortium of all the Councils for Voluntary Service and Volunteer Centres in Buckinghamshire, has been awarded the contract for the delivery of infrastructure services to the local Voluntary and Community Sector for the next 3 years.

In the past, our organisations had been funded separately by District and/or County councils under grants and service level agreement, but this year the Councils decided to make a change. Vale Volunteers and our colleague organisations across Buckinghamshire were in a competitive tendering situation, with the very real possibility that an outside group would be awarded the contract.

A great deal of hard work went into producing a high quality bid, and we were all relieved and delighted to be informed that for the next three years we will be delivering established and additional services to you, our front-line members, and continuing to support you in your invaluable work in the local community.

The four organisations forming Voluntary Impact Bucks are:

· Aylesbury Vale - Vale Volunteers - (Council for Voluntary Service and Volunteer Centre)
· Chiltern and South Bucks Districts – Voluntary Action Chiltern and South Bucks (Council for Voluntary Service and Volunteer Centre)
· Wycombe District - Priory Centre (Council for Voluntary Service) and Volunteer Focus (Volunteer Centre)
