Community Impact Bucks

Providing support, information and advice services to voluntary and community groups in Buckinghamshire, Community Impact Bucks is the new organisation formed by the merger of four long established infrastructure charities Vale Volunteers, The Priory Centre, Voluntary Action (Chiltern and South Bucks) and Buckinghamshire Community Action.  As Voluntary Impact Bucks the organisation successfully won the contract let jointly by the County and District Councils to deliver a comprehensive support service to the voluntary and community sector.

The merger of the four separate organisations took effect from April 2010, and aims to achieve three key outcomes:

· Improving the sustainability and viability of all the projects and services provided through the four partner organisations
· Retaining local links and enhancing the capability to serve all local communities.
· Enabling new, effective and innovative approaches to service delivery.
