Community Impact Bucks offers a broad range of other services to the local voluntary sector. For example, we will attend consultation events held by County and District Councils, Primary Care Trust, Police and other Statutory authorities and represent the views of local groups. Following such meetings we will publish consultation documents on the website and request a response from interested organisations. This is to make sure that the voice of the voluntary sector is heard loud and clear when important decisions are being discussed.
An electronic newsletter is sent out regularly – this contains a wealth of useful contacts and information. If you would like a copy (which is sent automatically to member organisations) please get in touch to give us your email contact details.
We arrange and deliver training on a wide range of subjects relevant to charities and the voluntary sector and provide access to a number of training workshops and seminars. Please note that there may be a charge for these.
We can offer help with design and preparation of information leaflets, newsletters, posters or annual reports too, although there is a small charge for this service.
Community Impact Bucks can give information about a wide range of subjects – getting a new group started, gaining registered charity status, insurance issues, expansion - we hope to have the answers, or find them out for our members. We offer a swift and accurate service via phone, e-mail, letter or face-to-face. For more details, please contact us.
Community Impact Bucks can give basic funding advice details and also provides a high quality service for members looking for funding opportunities and advice. For more details, please contact us.
We offer access to a wide range of relevant published information on research, issues, recruitment and best practice. Some of these resources are on our website.
Community Impact Bucks hosts regular free voluntary sector forums in locations
across the county. These
provide a good opportunity for delivery of training, sharing of
information, consultation on matters of immediate relevance and
importance, and for networking between members. Voluntary Sector Forums are ideal networking opportunities. Forums are promoted through our regular e-newsletter and on the News & Events page.
