Witness Supporters are needed in the Crown Court, one day a week or fortnight, to provide support both before and during court appearances by giving a tour of the court and explaining procedures to put witnesses at ease.
A Charity aiming to assist people with learning disabilities to gain employment. Have fun, learn new skills and support some great people as a Workplace Buddy accompanying people during their Volunteering.
This project aims to provide a Gardening and Decorating service to older and/or disabled people. An Office Angel is sought to assist the Project Worker with general administration tasks to include assisting Volunteers with completion of Criminal Records Bureau forms and general admin help. You will be rewarded with tea and biscuits and office banter.
Homeless young people with nowhere to sleep at night are urgently in need of accommodation in the Aylesbury area. Volunteers are required to provide temporary one-to-three night accommodation for young people of any backgroung, age 16-19 years.
A move to educate tomorrow's employers in dealing with epilepsy means a need to talk to schoolchildre. This nationwide organisation is appealing for people who will, after full instruction, talk to 12 and 13 year olds in schools. The Society's aim is to reduce stigma and bullying, and most of all, educate tomorrow's employers.
This national organisation believes that everybody has something positive to offer and needs an area organiser for Aylesbury. The Council for Voluntary Service is looking for someone special for a range of responsibilities, including attracting and working with volunteer sources, and supporting volunteer projects.

Support for Sports Coaches in Bucks is needed by Bucks Sport. The organisation brings together a large number of organisations including schools and sports clubs. Voluntary support workers, or mentors, are needed to support the development of Sports Coaches in Bucks by providing advice and guidance.Springhill Prison
A childcare Assistant is required for Stepping Stones Playgroup who aim to help children, aged 6 months to 4 years with special needs, take vital early steps towards achievement and independence.
